Averjill Rookwood
Averjill serves as a traditionally trained full spectrum doula focusing on holistic fertility/preconception, birth and postpartum doula services. Her doula care centers the health and vitality of the mother and baby while working synergistically with partners, families and all other perinatal professionals on the birth team.

Before Averjill, the founder of The Corporate Doula transitioned into her work as a passionate doula, she gained almost 20 years of experience in employer benefits management. Her responsibilities ranged from benefit and leave of absence plan design. and wellness management. She now utilizes that skillset alongside compassion, cultural awareness, education and advocacy as the pillars upon which she has built her business.
Her innovative doula perspective and corporate experience inform her work with families and employers. She believes all families deserve access, equity and consistently positive perinatal outcomes. The mission is to make a difference in birthing spaces and workplaces everyday!
